This has to be the best Origin moving-corner bi-fold doors installation we have done to date! We have installed moving-corner bi-fold doors for extensions, conservatories and orangeries before, but nothing to this size and scale. The client had a definite idea of how he wanted it to look and was working with a project manager with a wealth of experience in unusual and large installations.
In the initial stages, we had been recommended to the project manager for our ability to provide the highest specification products at a sensible price. We were given the architect’s plans of the exciting and grand design and based the approximate prices and specification from these detailed drawings.
When it was confirmed that we could perform the installation and that it was in fact possible, the client and project manager called into the showroom to see our Origin bi-folding doors on display. Although they were not in the colour of their project, a sample was made in the specified colour and the stainless steel handles and fittings could be seen along with the smooth operation of the Origin bi-folding doors. The project was to house a modern yet traditional living area and swimming pool with an uninterrupted view when the doors were open. This is where the Origin moving-corner bi-fold doors come into their own because when they are opened, the effect is very dramatic! Although a modern look was required, it had to be sympathetic to the wonderful period property it was to complement. This is why the client chose cream to soften the aluminium bi-folding doors aesthetics and to blend in with the existing windows.
